The first time La Cort dels Miracles told me about an international short film festival in Viladecavalls, it was clear to me that the Town Council had to be part of it: an event that brings together culture, local and international talent, builds community and sits us all together in front of a screen — and above all, puts the name of Viladecavalls on the cinematic map.This is the first edition of a festival we hope will have many more. Nothing would please me more than to see every seat filled and to hear that word has spread across the region about the festival we've made in our town.To the people of Viladecavalls: take a look at the program. Dear neighbours and lovers of the seventh art,On behalf of La Cort dels Miracles, it is an honour to welcome you to this first edition. What began as an idea is today a reality: a window open to the world and a loudspeaker for the talent of our home.At this festival, international creativity will share space with our local creators from the Vallès Section. We are a town proud of our roots, but with a curious, open gaze toward universal culture.We want FILC-VILA to be a space for encounter, reflection and collective celebration. Thanks to the volunteers, sponsors and to Viladecavalls Town Council for making it possible for this engine to start. And above all, thank you to the audience — for giving meaning to every frame.Enjoy the selection and let yourselves be surprised. Doors open half an hour before each session. Sessions last approximately 90 minutes.

Don't worry about hunger or thirst. Before and between sessions, enjoy the Damaleonic food truck at Plaça Coronel Busquets.

Free admission to all sessions, no tickets needed. Limited seating provided — we recommend bringing your own camping chair for maximum comfort.

Constantly anxious about her current and future financial situation, her children, Bruno (13) and Hidra (14), try to care for her and distract her from her monotonous days, yet they also crave her attention. Valeria promises them she will have the weekend off. A conversation with her coworker and friend Maria increases her fear of losing her job, along with the entire workforce. Worried about her age and job instability, Valeria decides to work that weekend, leading to an argument at home with her children. Ultimately, the entire staff is laid off. Valeria, distressed at the factory gates, is visited by her children. They vent their frustrations together and, in a supermarket parking lot, their family bond proves to be stronger than anything else.Genre: Drama
